Was walking to work in Tokyo during the first snowfall of 2008 and saw this small Japanese Winter bird (not sure the species) hopping around on the road. It wasn't scared of me at all and let me walk within half a metre of it as I tried to work out what it was doing. Hilariously enough it looked like it was actually eating the snowflakes as they fell down. Maybe it thought they were food (could have been it's first snow?) or maybe it was just romantic? I just had to film it anyway.

On my first trip down to Yokohama I saw this huge flock of kites (a species of eagle I think) flying at head level and catching fish from the ocean. Their wingspans must have been at LEAST 2 metres across. Beautiful creatures. Check out their size compared to the people in this shot.

Saw one this morning at Aoyama Ichome Station on the Hanzomon line and decided to film it. Gets weirder and weirder as more and more people walk through it despite the fact they can walk around it.
