We have a giant squid that never shows itself. We have a computer called Hal -oops- Jerry. We have a plot device seemingly borrowed from an even worse flick called Event Horizon. We even have the 'underwater research facility destroyed by monster/bad weather/bomb/take your pick' cliche. The reactions displayed by everyone in this film was confusing to say the least. The story line, although not as bad as EH was so muddled you soon couldn't care whether the crew lived or died. Just about nothing made sense. CONCLUSION? Yawn. Watch this to cure your insomnia. Buckwheat is translated as Ajda in Slovenian language. Ajda is much more lovely word then Buckwheat and the little girl's name is Ajda. Her mommy Mateja (a friend from neighbour flat) wanted some photos and we went outside. There is also Lulu (my daughter) present, being a bit jealous on somebody else taking all her dady's attention. This is a movie portret of ARTUR ŠTERN an atheist candidate for Slovenian President 2007. He promises to continue unpolitical stance of president Janez Drnovšek (http://www.gibanje.org) in sense of defying administrative and bureaucratic monster that has gained too much govermental power and control over peoples life. In fact such unhuman form of establishment have many fascist features. Besides other measures in support of socialy week as well as intelectuals and cultural side he is in favour of Cannabis legalization. This trailer for this mockumentary was made on his first day of political campain in Šmarje, Šentjur and Celje where he was trying to collect 5000 votes of support. Besides heavy rain, other problems and nasty people occurred. Side story which might as well be interpreted as main is about buying purple Volkswagen Bug / Herby as promotion campaign vehicle. Getting into fight because of it wasn't intentional but a mean to return some of the money spent... Movie "Gola Resnica" or "Naked Truth" soon in your cinema!

The Halina 35X is a viewfinder camera made by Haking in Hong Kong (China). It is a copy of the Ranger 35 made by Nihon Seiki. It's quite compact but heavy. The camera's back and its bottom are one part which has to be removed for loading a film. The shutter has to be wound up before each exposure with a lever on the lens tube. On the bottom the camera has the imprinting "Empire made". Haking produced the 35X for its own brand Halina and for the brands Micronta and Sunscope. I never knew a sequel was made of "2001: A space odyssey" until a few months ago. When I finally had watched this film, I understood why. "2007" is anything but a bad movie, but it doesn't offer the same remarkable innovation its predecessor did. Nevertheless, this film has some great special effects which are, just like "2001", way ahead of its time. Watching this film, it's hard to believe that it's already more than 15 years old! Because this film sets off immediately where the previous one ended, you're involved the second you start watching! As a result of this, "2007" sheds some serious light on many unanswered questions of "2001: A space odyssey". This alone makes the story of "2007" very appealing, because one wants to know the true meaning behind the mysterious monolith. The only let down of the film is that the characters are quite thin and the acting isn't always very convincing. Add to that one or two scenes that can be a bit monotonous and you know why I think "2007" is not as good as "2001". Even so "2007" is worth-watching thanks to breathtaking special effects and a storyline that'll make the previous movie a little bit more understandable. Cannibal holocaust is a truly charged viewing experience; in all its 20 years of existence no other non mondo film (until maybe Men behind the sun) had such a reputation to shock, even today it is believed by some at the UKs trading standards to be an actual snuff film. CH is not the goriest film ever made, but in terms of themes and narrative its still the cruellest, most fascinatingly harsh piece of filmaking in the horror genre. Ive seen all the Traces of death, the men behind the sun films, and the Guinea pigs and I still think this is king. It is simply so well made, acted, atmospheric and the brilliant score by Riz Ortalani sets the scene so well. The fake documentary style never slips up. But perhaps the most unsettling thing about CH is that it is an exploitation film, and the scenes of animal cruelty (and even human) unsettle because they are being shown to promote a response...should you look away or not?Like I said Cannibal Holocaust is a truly unique experience, not some Gory novelty like Cannibal Ferox, and in this time of increased media coverage of true life atrocity maybe its pertinent? Maybe its just nasty cruelty, maybe it even dissapoints you...you just have to see it to gauge you're own response. For me at least its a classic. (Zombie79, www.imdb.com)
