It should be available for the Sega Genesis. CGRHD admits that we suck at Guitar Hero. 10 year olds would crush us in a duel without breaking a sweat. But CGRHD would crush a 10 year old into tears at Ms. Pac Man, so take that!!! This game is loads of fun and makes a great party game or high scoring arcade type of game. You play as a guitar HERO (hence the title) and rock out to music from popular bands like White Zombie, The Killers, Slipknot, Poison, Rage Against the Machine, The Scorpions and Weezer just to name a few. You play the game with a fun guitar controller, we used a wireless one for the Xbox. This game is playable on Xbox Live XBLA with a friend and also has gamer points and achievements.

This is a video game that replicates that excitement. It's like the ice hockey of the lawn. Soccer. Enjoy a tall cool glass of soccer. David Beckham is not in this game. Neither is Pele. Neither is Joe Montanna. But if they were, it would still be called Championship Soccer. Why? Because it isn't Championship Tennis. Enjoy it because CGRHD doesn't review many sports titles because we're sports inept. If watching science fiction and Star Wars was a sport we'd be the Serena Williams of the Star Trek fan club.

Produced by ACTIVISION with a copyright of 1981, Laser Blast is an old school retro arcade style classic video game for the Atari VCS. You command a flying saucer like UFO whose job is to fire lasers at three moving targets on the ground also equipped with lasers. If you like laser beams then this is the game for you because all the combatants use lasers. This isn't one of the best of the early Activision titles like Pitfall or River Raid, but it's a good time for a brief time. I wouldn't expect to see this on Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 or Wii any time soon. Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Missile command is a classic game cartridge from back in the day and is a lot of fun. You can also play this game 2 player. This game should come out for Xbox Live Arcade XBLA or Playstation 3 PS3.

SPACE WAR is an old school game, so old school this was made before you were. Back in the late 70's the country was rockin' out to disco and Star Wars, and this game was inspired by both. More Star Wars though, which came out in 1977 and launched actors like Chewbacca and Darth Vader to world wide fame. This game was release in 1978. This is old-school, retro, vintage, arcade gaming at its finest. Two player action, you pilot space ships (the same ones from Asteroids I think) and shoot at each other. It's basically Combat in space, or Battlestar Galactica (the old series) mixed with the A-Team. You drive a James Bond kind of a car with machine guns and oil slick and blow up enemy bad guys on the road and on the seas... or rivers. The Classic Game Room HD's modified Sega Genesis outputs S-video to your television, instead of the ultra-lame RF signal or composite. S-video is a modern video standard, like component (the red, blue and green inputs seen on most telvisions and hdtv these days). Although it is not as "good" as component, the s-video modded 16-bit Mega Drive looks sharper, has more contrast, is brighter, crisper and all around better. Classic Game Room HD uses its "Paddle Controllers of Fury" to review SUPER BREAKOUT for the Atari 2600 VCS video game console and destroy line after line of alien blocks in space. This awesome game, somewhat reminiscent of Pong, is an old-school, vintage, retro, arcade style video game from the '70s. This is of course the sequel to Breakout (which we also review) There are few gemes in this genre better than Super Breakout. Perhaps Arkanoid? It's hard to say. In Crysal Castles you are Bentley Bear, a bear on a mission, a mission to collect crystals from the floors of castles and dodge walking trees. This kids game from the 1980's for the Atari 2600 is far from being a classic, yet it is an interesting look at a unique take on a Pac Man style. Pole Position II was the sequel to.. you guessed it, Pole Position. The big difference is that this game came out on the more advanced, stainless steel plated Atari 7800 game system. Sure this sequel has better graphics and sound than the first one, but is it better than Forza 2 on the Xbox 360 or Gran Turismo HD 5 on the PS3? You be the judge. Pole Position 2 is a great F1 style formula one racing game for the time, you race your F-1 car around championship tracks like Fuji and Suzuka and its a fun driving simulator.
