I walked along Bradford Beach on June 9, and was appalled to see how polluted it was. The storms had washed up garbage into the sands. Bottles, lighters, lip balm, and even corpses were along the entire length. I came back the next day to find the city cleaning it up, but it was still filthy...yet people were still on the beach, and a couple with their child was considering going into the water. Still want to swim in Lake Michigan?
