            <media:description type="plain">A unique corporation formed in Powell River to locally manage land development in the city limits. Some of this land is Agricultural Land Reserve, suitable for some form of agriculture. Some land desired for a park is PRSC supported. The land currently has marketable timber timber owners wish to harvest. PRSC proposes that PRSC will manage the development of this land for the best possible use maintaining as many trees as possible. 100% in the park and Agriculture where possible. This is the second time they have requested the removal of the ALR designation.
If the owners of the timber, harvest, the result will be a clear cut.
