"Royal Death Lair" VRS Mishap

Author: MRagsdale
Added: Wed, 26 Sep 2007 07:30:14 -0800
Duration: 194

I decided to try the VRS service using the free webcam I received. During my first phone call with VRS, the video interpreter misunderstood the answering machine recording as "You have reached Royal Death Lair, please leave a message" and it took me by surprise! Royal Death Lair?! I double checked the phone number and it was the right number. I then asked the interpreter to redial and again she said "Royal Death Lair yadda yadda....". Say what? I hung up and tried again with the different interpreter. This time the interpreter said "You have reached Royce and Deb Li****, please leave a message." LOL!!!! I finally understood how that interpreter may have misinterpreted that recording. :) Did any one of you have similiar experiences using the VRS? P.S. I know I look like a crap....I have been sick on top of being stressed to the max with work and life. But I am feeling better now.

This is about my strange encounter with a gypsy-like woman at my hometown festival. The lady I never met touched my ears and declared that I'd regain my hearing in the future (huh? I have been deaf since birth?!) and the new world will open up.
