Their they encounter a pair of sex crazed thrill killers who are slaughtering their way across the southwest. As they say wackiness censuses in this tense early 1960's black and white film noir.
This nasty little film has a lot of suspense and a number of creepy scenes. Here is a link to it's listing on the IMDB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057465/#comment

Were these massice stone statues the work of some primitive tribe or is there origin from another world? This question isn't answered in this short color film from 1930's/50's?. But we do see plenty of erected statues and some still partially buried. There are also some treated views of the natural scenery. Excerpted from a longer silent film found in the Prelinger collection http://www.archive.org/details/easter_island .
The musical score is courtesy of our inhouse (for the most part) soundmixer Grand.

A thunderstorm woke me up about three am and my camera was right there so I grabbed a couple of minutes of it. Very peaceful the thunder, rain, wind and windchimes all creating a couple of moments of music.

Ah lets spend a couple of minutes and meditate upon the beauty of nature at the seashore. In this case the most lucious Adele Dolman lounging on the slippery rocks of Malibu California. The waves wash over her sexy swimsuit and spray relief on a body baked by the warm California sun. A couple of times those naughty waves almost (but not quite) full her top down exposing those hidden charms. Surf's Up!!!!

We have updated the music with a contribution by the artist Grand who is making his second soundscape for us. The film is from the Prelinger collection and can be found at the Internet Archive http://www.archive.org/details/movies. Here we present the first of a series of excerpts from them. In this one we see the famous Zapruder film of the president clearly being shot from the front while Lee Harvey Oswald was behind the president. We also look at the “magic bullet” and how it managed to wound two people over the course of 3-5 seconds and remain undamaged. There is also an overview of the day leading up to the assassination. In later parts we will go into greater detail.
Alternative View was an Austin Tex. Cable tv show broadcast from the late 70's until the early 90's. Full episodes of Alternative View are available at http://www.archive.org/index.php

This time we go back to 1917 and look at two short clips from Michigan. In the first we see some hillclimbing competition. This being done by riders wearing shirts & ties. And then a cautionary tale about the harsh consequences of speeding and trying to elude the motorcycle cop.

This time we present the story of Charles Keating swindler, anti porn activist and good friend of John Mc Cain. Part one tells the Lincoln Savings story through the intervention of five United States senators including McCain into the investigation on behalf of Keating. True four of those senators are Democrats but only one is running for president this year.

Taken from an interview that apperared on Alternative View an Austin Texas cable show that covered investigative reporting in the 80's. There are a number of episodes for free download at archive.org

Filmed in 1980 it has the Chicago punk rock scene as it’s background. Clubs of the time like Gaspar’s, Tuts & The Space Place are mentioned. There are flyers from groups like DV8 & The Clash. And one scene is shot inside the original Wax Trax.
It’s a Columbia College student film that never had sound until now we added some soundefffects and a killer track from early 90’s Chicago garage rockers The Atomic Fireballs.

Cal went on to set a record for consecutive games played. on the other hand this was before Cal’s brother Billy became infamous for holding a bat that had “dickhead” written on the end on his baseball card . So maybe the curse was misdirected.

I have taken photographs of neon signs for the past twenty five years. On the MindsiMedia YouTube channel there is a large playlist of neon videos. At my web site mindsimedia.info there there is a gallery full of them. As an offshoot of this “hobby” I have also taken other dark photos with flashes of bright colors which I refer to as Photo Noir. This slideshow is an introduction to my Photo Noir gallery also found at mindsimedia.info.

The soundscape was produced by Grand from original sounds and these samples found at freesound.org

Be amazed at the synchronized dance routine and wonder how they got six guys and all that gear on such a small stage. More early nostalgia from the greatest band that almost never was. Watch out for the acid flashback that kicks in about half way through.

They are a really great organization that works to promote one of the most beautiful of industrial art forms. The museum is well worth a visit the next time your in LA. Right now you can’t as they are relocating. They do offer a variety of three hour neon themed bus tours that are a really great time. Drinks & refreshments are on hand & they do make stops. I have a couple of other videos on You Tube that I made during my last ride. Check their web site for more info. http://www.neonmona.org/flash/index.html

We also have a nice gallery of neon photos on our home web site. minds media.info

This was the first year a female krewe paraded (Venus) and was the last celebration until after the war. There are some pretty good costumes in the crowd too. The music is provided by George Lewis & Johnny Dodds. So Bon Temps Roule!

This statue located just north of downtown Glenview across for the train station is one of them. Commissioned by Edwin S. Jackman in 1917. It is really quite a work of art with lovely details of wild animals and native Americans. It’s a work of art, a fountain and a small slice of Glenview Illinois history all in one. Right next to the fountain is this more contemporary metal statue of two children. So take a couple of minutes relax and enjoy this moment of beauty.
