On the last video of PAPA we’ll show off the Joust Cocktail Table Pinball Machine. Originally titled, Conflict, Joust came out in 1982, right after the arcade game in 1981. Only 402 units were made. The game is a head to head Vs. Pinball machine and it feels a lot like Crossfire, but with a lot more stuff to do. The sounds are all taken right from the arcade game so it’s has a real Joust feeling to it.

You put your money in, hit start then go up the specially made stairs and you play the game, BACKWARDS! It was really fun to play and I even entered it twice. This was the best I was able to do, sadly didn't break a billion points, but it was still fun to try!

On the top left of the machine there are the two VR gloves from the movie. There's a magnet in the glove and you can use one of the four flipper buttons to move the glove to drop the ball on the keypad and lock it for multiball. A great fast action machine. Much better then the movie!

I wanted to see how the videos would come out with the newer camera but since 2600 got a camera just for videos, I use this for snapshots and smaller videos. 8 totally changed their layout of the arcade. The back part now houses all of their pinball machines and it's nice because it drowns out the sound of the rest of the other arcade games...well unless somebody is playing Mr.Do! or the Beatmania IIDX machine.

Sports Plus had a good arcade, bowling ally, bar, restaurant, laser tag and even an indoor ice rink. From what I've been told a person walked in and made an offer and bought all of the arcade games, I haven't heard what's going to be done with them. Now the lot of where Sports Plus is going to be is also in debate. What I've heard it's going to be an LA Fitness Center and an organic whole foods supermarket, but it keeps changing. So I'll keep it at that.

Here's a video of me playing Konami's Fighting Mania Fist of The North Star. A machine that's hard to come by now. The game plays a lot like Dance Dance Revolution, but with punching. The machine has six pads you have to punch, when they come out and light up, hit it then when it's time to finish off the boss all of the pads come out and you have to punch like a maniac to win. I played this on the easy setting, so you're not seeing the later more challenging stuff the game has to offer.

Here's a video from the Dave and Busters in the Airport Plaza. (Farmingdale NY) This video is a little bit outdated, they have DDR Supernova 2 now and a couple of other new games. They also have a really nice bowling ally, bar and restaurant to eat at as well. Sadly they don't have the Hibachi Grill anymore... :(
