Directed by Christopher Jarvis. An adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s 1841 satire, which Poe subtitled “A Moral Tale.” Toby Dammit is a young man of dubious morals. When he was a child, his left-handed mother beat him from left to right, and Poe says that if a proper right-handed beating dispels malice from a child, then it stands to reason that a left-handed beating knocks wickedness in. Toby enjoys drinking, smoking, telling lies in confessions to the priest, and gambling. Since he owns nothing of value, his favorite wager is, “I’ll bet the devil my head.” His best friend, the narrator, implores him to stop using this expression before it gets him into real trouble.

A Dozen More Turns is the true story of five close friends, all with extensive avalanche education, who went on a New Year's Day hut trip in Southwestern Montana. A member of the group triggered an avalanche with truly devastating consequences. This film tells this tragic story in an effort to help backcountry enthusiasts re-calibrate their decision-making processes when up on the slopes. Using emotional interviews, science and compelling home video footage left behind by the group, each viewer is left wondering if simply having avalanche education is enough to save our lives in the backcountry. How much are we willing to risk for a dozen more turns?

Scott, a would-be documentary filmmaker, is making a film about a college student whom he thinks is lonely and depressed. When Matthew, the subject, turns out to not be as miserable as Scott wished, Scott becomes determined to interfere with Matthew's life in hopes of making it more interesting. Scott starts by attempting to place paranoia in Matthew's life by inventing a bully who continually vandalizes his door. When this does not work, Scott attempts to place a wedge between Matthew and a girl he has feelings for. While Scott insists that he is simply 'projecting' Matthew's life onto the screen, his darker intentions are slowly revealed.

Directed by Steven Tagle. From writer and filmmaker Steven Tagle comes MODEL MAN, a short film which addresses age-old questions regarding the nature of love and its place in the relationship between humans and machines. In a time when machines are increasingly anthropomorphized, this film examines the mechanisms of romantic love and the possibility of a robot as the ideal lover. Tired of waiting for the perfect man to sweep her off her feet, scientist Adena Logan constructs a wind-up robot lover, Simon, in the basement of her small suburban home. Adena teaches Simon everything he needs to be the perfect partner: how to open doors, how to hold hands, how to kiss. But as their relationship deepens, Adena must prove to herself that Simon can genuinely love.
