Unfortunately there was low community turnout, the facilitation left those attending only the chance to select several predefined service concepts, and the food provided consisted of bland bagels and fruit punch. The Library Renaissance Project is seeking to expand the scope of voices heard around the rebuilding of Anacostia's Public Library using an open-ended community minded approach which helps develop a broader and more inclusive library vision.
