The entire G-Mail service crashed in the middle of the day for a few hours yesterday, making it impossible for users of Google's popular email service to log in to their accounts, send or receive messages, or chat through G-Talk. An ice avalache hit the worlds second highest mountain on Friday after 17 climbers from different international expeditions reached the K2 peak together. The avalanche hit at about 5-miles up in the Dead Zone, taking down the safety ropes meant for the mountain descent. The death toll is currently marked at 11 people. Many climbers consider the K2 to be a more technically challenging summit than the worlds tallest peak, Mount Everest.
