Branded by the Discovery Channel, this game is simple but fun. The first, and hardest part, is getting the game to run. I had to uninstall and reinstall the first time I got it and now sometimes I have to restart my iPhone before it will run. It helps to know that I am still on iPhone firmware 2.0 and not 2.0.1 which is less buggy. Reading comments in the App Store it seems many others are having problems also. Once you get the game to run it’s worth it for free. Using controls for both Altitude and Velocity you control your tank to destroy the enemy. This game is pretty easy because the enemy doesn’t fire back. Unlike other tank games, you don’t move your tank around. The game has nice sound effects and graphics but needs more difficulty added and maybe a two player mode over the network.

This is the mobile messaging application we've all been waiting for. AgileMobile is a multi service chat application that includes ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo!, Jabber and GoogleTalk. This application is smooth, works over edge or wifi, has tons of features, runs in the background more. Yes, running in the background is going to effect your battery but this can be changed in the Preferences. The interface is great and the tab feature works great. My only complaint is the sound effects. The current sound is a little annoying and once a sound is made my audio becomes all muffled. It would be sweet if each service had their own original sound effect.

This game is pretty simple but addicting. You basically want to get the most counters cleared as you can. You start by choosing one of the 9 center counters. You want to choose arrows that will make the longest path to clear the most counters.

Agent 18 EcoShield review for iPhone by AppleiPhoneSchool.com This case is very simple and very easy to install. You just slide on the bottom, then slide on the top, simple as that. It has a clean design and is not too bulky like most cases. The only negative I have is it’s still slippery. The hard plastic case needs some rubber grips. This is the main reason I use a case is the metal case of the iPhone is slick. Check out the video for a full review.

Pool is available from the iPod Touch Fans repository listed in Installer.app under Games (once you add the source). If you, like me, played games on previous cell phones, you have probably seen, and played, various pool games. Pool by iPod Touch Fans is the closest thing yet. It is a single player, stripes vs. solids game, with easy to control shots and accurate bounces. Use your finger to align the cue (very easy to do), and swipe your finger across the power slider on the right (which I find to be very well implemented). It’s only short comings are multi-player and the graphics are a bit lacking (but not a game-stopper). I will be playing this game as much as I play iBlackjack, or as much as my wife played FiveDice, which is alot!

Warning, this app is super addicting! It's an interactive game that uses shapes and virtual gravity to manipulate other objects on the screen. That's a broad description, I know. That's because developers create all kinds of things from simple puzzles & mazes to "steering the fish" & golf! You gotta see the video to understand.

Customize Update 1.19 has been released with some improvements to the icon order feature. So far we have had no problems with the upgrade on our iPhones which are running FW 1.1.1. The best part of this upgrade is the ability to choose how many icons you want on your dock. This will make installing themes with 3 or 5 dock icons much easier. You can also toggle the hide icon feature on and off to keep from accidentally hiding icons as you scroll through them or move them. If you have Dock installed be careful when moving icons down; you need to slide your finger to the left a little after you start moving it to avoid selecting the dock’s sunburst. I will explain better in the video demo. So far that’s all I see but this is great!

Ok, it’s not Android, but it’s still pretty sweet. Google has combined and optimized a bunch of web apps to work on the iPhone. What makes it so great is that there is a menu at the top that links to all the other apps. It also seems to pre-cache your other apps so when search it’s searching images in the background and they are ready right away when you tap images. Here’s a list of the apps: Google search, image search, local search, news, Gmail, Calendar, Reader, GOOG-411, SMS, Picasa Photos, Blogger, Notebook.
