Game officers for DEC gave tickets to 4 out of town anglers yesterday and ignored the kind of activity going on in this video. They took the 4 men directly to court for snatching. After court instead of coming back and ticketing the gentlemen on the wall they left town? This appears to be selective enforcement of game laws. Especially since they waited nearly 30 minutes to go to court, and no attempt to stop the illegal activity on the opposite side of the river took place. The out of town anglers quit coming to town to fish, and had not at any time kept a fish foul hooked. Anglers on the opposite bank were keeping quite a few fish though not all anglers did so.

The top deer harvested in Kentucky and Indiana are showcased at the Jim Strader Huntign and Fishing Expo each year. This year we managed to get MOST of the Awards ceremony on video. Missing are the first 2 awards given to 2 young people for their deer. I will try to get their names in the future an add them their names to this column. I must say that it is a great privilege to work each year at the Strader Hunting and Fishing Expo. I have met hunters like Harold Knight, Jerry Peterson, and some of the greatest hunters in North America. Each year the Strader Expo show cases these individuals and this year was no exception. Jerry Peterson who was the first to initiate calling for deer was the speaker. There will be a video of Jerry and some of his new calls on my Revver account soon. Check them out.
