May 23, 2007 A Grizzly Bear attacked photographer Jim Cole while he was taking pictures in Yellowstone's Hatden Valley. This is the scene 1/2 to 1 hour after the attack as vistors look on Rangers look for anything the man left behind at the site of the attack. The trail goes across the center of the park. The man walked out after being clawed in the face. He received sever facial injuries including loss of his left eye.
